Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, an Indian actress who has worked in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu films, was born on March 5, 1985. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Podaa Podi (2012), in which she played a London-based dancer. Her work in Vikram Vedha earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the South Filmfare Awards (2017). For her film Danny, she was given the moniker Makkal Selvi (people's girl) (2020)
